Scottish Nature Photography Competition Deadline Approaches

Scottish Nature Photography Awards 2012
Celebrating Nature, Wild Life and Landscape Photography in Scotland.
The Competition for the title of Scottish Nature Photographer of The Year 2012 is open to amateur and professional photographers.
Entries are welcome from around the world,but images must have been taken in Scotland.
The Categories Are:
Scottish Wildlife (Wildlife Portrait,Wildlife Behaviour)
Scottish landscape (Sea and Coast,The Land,Urban Green-space)
Scottish Botanical
Natural Abstract
Environmental
Full or Part-time students (over 18 years of age) undertaking a Photography element in their course can compete for the title of Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the year 2012 by entering a portfolio of 3 images on a single nature theme.
If you are under 18 years of age, you can take part in the Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the year 2012 by entering up to 5 photographs of any Scottish nature subject.

Member Nan Caldwells colour print was awarded Top Place in the GDPU John Duffy Print Portfolio.
The same image in Mono was one of the 10 prints selected to represent Scotland in the 28th FIAP Monochrome Biennial in China.
Scotland finished in 9th position in that competition out of an entry from 32 different countries.
