Annual Exhibition 2018 “Best Print in Exhibition” as voted by the members.

This year’s award was shared by Chris Bonnington for his print “Fire on Ice”
and Campbell Skinner “Eyes down for the shot"
So our marvelous Trophy will be shared between the two guys.

Very worthy winners.

Congratulations to Vice President Bill Hogg.
His Print “Golden Girl” was accepted for the RPS Digital Image Group,
PDI 2017 Exhibition in the Altered Reality section.
It will be printed in the DIGIT magazine along with other acceptances.

Congratulations to Jim Stevenson

Jims Print Hannoy Morning was voted as "Best Print" in our Annual 2017 Exhibition
This is the second time that Jim has picked up the Paladin Financial Services Trophy for best print.
The Trophy will be presented at our Annual lunch
Second Place went to Peter De Marco for his print "Artic Fox"
Third place went to Chris Bonnington for two prints with an equal number of votes
"Black church Rock" and "Alone"

Scottish Nature Photography Awards 2012

Celebrating Nature, Wild Life and Landscape Photography in Scotland.

The Competition for the title of Scottish Nature Photographer of The Year 2012 is open to amateur and professional photographers.

Entries are welcome from around the world,but images must have been taken in Scotland.
The Categories Are:
Scottish Wildlife (Wildlife Portrait,Wildlife Behaviour)
Scottish landscape (Sea and Coast,The Land,Urban Green-space)
Scottish Botanical
Natural Abstract

Full or Part-time students (over 18 years of age) undertaking a Photography element in their course can compete for the title of Student Scottish Nature Photographer of the year 2012 by entering a portfolio of 3 images on a single nature theme.

If you are under 18 years of age, you can take part in the Junior Scottish Nature Photographer of the year 2012 by entering up to 5 photographs of any Scottish nature subject.

Circle Members success in Slide Competition

Colin Robinson had two acceptances for the Inter-Federation Slide Competition & Exhibition 2007.

Slides Were:
"A Tight Turn" & "The Matador"


Mike Cruise also had two slides accepted in this Competition.
Grey Heron In Flight. & "Frog".

Member Nan Caldwells colour print was awarded Top Place in the GDPU John Duffy Print Portfolio.

The same image in Mono was one of the 10 prints selected to represent Scotland in the 28th FIAP Monochrome Biennial in China.

Scotland finished in 9th position in that competition out of an entry from 32 different countries.
